I am a seasoned executive with almost 28 years of experience (hereof 10 as CEO) in the pharma, medical device, biotech and healthcare IT areas. My key strengths are based on a strong sales and marketing career combined with the ability to assemble and lead capable teams, create a strong vision and strategy and executein a focused, data-driven and capital efficient manner. I grew up and started my career in Europe, have lived in Japan and the past 17 years in the US. I have held executive positions of VP or better at Genentech, Novo Nordisk, Reed Elsevier, AlterG, Vapore and Deltagen. I have done private financings, taken a company public and acquired and divested companies. I have a Masters of Science degree from Copenhagen University, Faculty of Life Sciences, Denmark.
