I have over 22 years of experience in the telecommunication software industry.I started at Infocom, assisting in building a Missile Simulator for the Danish Army, the ADT 4000 (Advanced Defense Training system). At Dancall/Bosch/Siemens, I was able to specialize in MMI design and software implementation for mobile phones.I then joined TTPCom/Motorola. I had the opportunity to advance my career and experiences, implementing optimized versions of the different security algorithms (e.g. RSA) needed for small embedded ARM systems.I got the opportunity to be based in the TTPCom Singapore office for 2.5 years as support engineer, giving technical support mainly to the South East Asia customers in China and Taiwan. Upon my return to Denmark, I was promoted to a team leader and was responsible for the Security and Download Group. In CSR/Samsung, I worked in the wireless connectivity area (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), integrating the solutions into the customers’ platforms. Furthermore, I was, implementing test tool applications in a combination of Python scripts running on a PC, interacting with Android Application on the native platform, thereby testing the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi performance.I was also travelling to support customers and colleagues in the Far East (China, Taiwan and Korea). At Intel, I am part of the Security group, which implements and integrates the security software solutions for the embedded mobile systems (e.g. using the RSA and ECC algorithms).I have been in charge of the Security Automated Regression Test System, testing the security solutions on both host and HW.The languages used throughout my career has mainly been C, using Perl/Python for scripts, and the coding environment has mainly been done on Linux, supported by Git/P4, Gerrit, Jenkins and Bullseye. For 7.5 years, I was active in the telecommunication standardization area, in 3GPP and OMA. I was elected chairman (and re-elected) for some of the working groups in both organizations.
