Using only wind, sun, and water, our portfolio of projects will produce clean fuels at a scale that is cost competitive with fossil fuels, significantly reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.As the Director Upstream Energy, I lead a regional team of wind and solar experts developing a pipeline of four projects consisting of 150GW solar and wind energy projects in partnership with multinational oil and gas majors bp and Shell and government owned national entities; Enertech and OQ across Australia, Oman and Saudi Arabia for the purpose of creating green fuels to support the energy transition of hard to abate sectors such as shipping, aviation and heavy industries.

Project Director for the 1,026MW (USD1.5bn) MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct being fully funded by Acciona Energy and constructed with investment partner Ark Energy and a 100MW project, the Karara Wind Farm being constructed for the Queensland Government owned entity; CleanCo. Responsibilities included development and management of USD1.5bn project budget, procurement and construction strategies, building and leading the project team consisting of +30 people as well as all development and construction activities to enable timely construction commencement including planning permit, environmental approvals, grid connection, developing project plans in accordance with permit approval conditions, tendering and selection of construction, installation, crane and transport subcontractors, negotiation of Unincorporated Joint Venture agreements with investment partner and managing both Ark Energy and CleanCo relationships.

Leading the regional transition of GE from an equipment supplier to an EPC turnkey provider of onshore wind project across Australia and South East Asia. As Senior Leader, I was a key member of global turnkey capability team build around experts in USA, Europe and Australia. The global turnkey team was tasked with identifying and recommending process, tools and talent acquisition to enable turnkey execution. In addition to the contributions to the global turnkey team, my regional responsibilities included building a capable team of turnkey experts to undertake all aspects of developing the project delivery strategy including identification and qualification of contractors and consortium partners, contract negotiation and execution for projects in Australia and Southeast Asia. I also led the regional engagement with the corporate risk and governance group and facilitated internal project risk review prior to proposal submission and contract execution to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines. Once a project had been executed and entered the construction and operation phase, I served on the consortium board managing all project escalation issues from the project manager and project directors.

Established and shaped the newly established strategic account management function on the back of securing a 3 project, 1 gigawatt pipeline with Orsted, the world’s largest offshore wind developer. I was the internal escalation point for wide range of issues of product development, quality, manufacturing, construction and financing issues at project management to C-level global strategic market development dialogues for USA and Asia. Liaising directly with the project director and the project execution team as well as the CTO, CFO, COO and CEO office, I was able to transform a stressed relationship into one of trust and confidence between MHI Vestas and Orsted. In addition, I was also leading the engagement with other major offshore wind developers and utilities; EON, Equinor and Copenhagen Offshore Partners.

Successfully developed and managed strategic relationships across major Australian power utilities and wind energy developers across full value chain; sales, construction and operation. Proven track record of successful negotiation and execution of large turnkey, supply and service agreements across Asia using both project finance and equity as project funding models. Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders including consultants and major domestic and international financial institutions involved in the development, construction and funding of renewable energy.

Fortunate to work as part of a great team providing innovative solutions to power utilities and wind farm developers across Australia. Responsibility for tender submissions and contract negotiations for both supply and service agreements. Achievements include the award of the USD500m new equipment and service contracts.

Working across Major Accounts in Australian Renewable Energy Sector.Achievements include providing general sales support and project management of contract interface with consortium partner Leighton for the 420MW Macarthur Wind Farm. At its completion in 2013, the Macarthur Wind Farm was the largest wind farm in the southern hemisphere.

Denmark House serves as a contemporary venue for members and visitors. The venue showcases the best in Danish Culture, Design and Cuisine and is located in the heart of Melbourne CBD.My work with Denmark House has primarily involved re-launching one of the oldest clubs in Victoria (dating back to 1889) to a modern example of Danish contemporary design.The result of years of hard work by the board and staff is a younger and more contemporary venue providing a welcoming space to existing members while doing a fantastic job at attracting curious visitors.Subsequent to the sale of the historic beach side club facility in Middle Park and relocation into the Melbourne CBD I continued to serve as Trustee of the charitable trust Dannebrog Foundation.
