Senior Process Engineer. PSM/RMP food and industrial processes. Process Engineering: Projects included reformulations to products, led reviews and modification of product DCS programming to decrease product variability. While completing process engineering tasks-Project Engineering: Managed projects ranging from $5K - $1M, all completed within schedule and budget. Projects included mechanical restoration of failed food reactor, API tank replacement with containment isolation control interlock system, and ASME vessel replacement.Utilities Engineer. Initiated, developed, and managed projects ranging from $5K to $3M all within budget. Duties included initiating and developing boiler improvement projects. Process Engineer. Responsibilities included scaling up bench reactions to full production batch processes, evaluation and testing of new separation methods, SOPs, BOMs, and process campaign scheduling.

Managed capital projects from $20K TO $2.5M. Duties included initial design and cost estimating, funding requests, bid requests and awards, and cost tracking. Co-project engineer for $9.9M debottlenecking production facility. Initiated product formulation changes to save $55K/yr.

Process / Project Engineer. Duties included installation supervision, process hazard reviews, writing procedures, training, PFDs and PIDs, and startup. Process Engineer (area process engineer-one of two for facility). Provided control loop trouble-shooting, programming, backup distributed control system engineer, process optimizations, process improvements, and safety improvements. Projects included redesign/ rebuild ASME heat exchangers/equipment for several air compressor systems, repack and rehabilitate distillation columns: pilot plant electrical restoration.

Analyzed production and led process modification team. Coordinated departmental maintenance priorities, health and safety responses, and process control reports. Led team of investigators verifying and improving the safety level of the process using Management Oversight Risk Tree system.

Member of Systems Support Contractor for Gas Centrifuge Enrichment Project. Validated and Verified design packages and analyzed the interfaces between contractors’ design packages, analyzed portion of the plant for further engineering studies or new ideas for reducing costs and/or increased reliability, availability, and maintainability, managed team for process start-up scheduling.
