Alyssa Larson is a P.E. with over 13 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on environmental transaction due diligence and compliance reviews, subsurface investigation, remedial design and implementation, and technical writing and reporting. Alyssa has completed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), limited environmental compliance reviews, desktop environmental reviews, and return-to-compliance assignments for hundreds of industrial and commercial facilities, primarily during mergers and acquisitions, and is qualified as an environmental professional (EP) by American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. She has also performed and directed various site investigation activities (i.e., soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, soil gas, and ambient and indoor air sampling) at numerous federal Superfund and state cleanup sites and has supervised large-scale geophysical surveys, active remediation efforts (i.e., soil excavation, soil vapor extraction, sediment dredging), and the construction of a capped smelter waste containment landfill. Additionally, Alyssa has authored and assisted with the preparation of numerous technical reports, including storm water and spill control plans, subsurface investigation reports, remedial investigation and feasibility studies, remedial work plans, construction completion reports, remedy maintenance and monitoring reports, and institutional control plans. Alyssa has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
