Passionate sustainability manager with 10 years of experience working with a global retailer, food processor and agricultural research centers in various countries. Proven track record of developing and implementing international sustainability strategies, policies and projects with the aim to drive positive change within organisations and create impact on the ground. Extensive knowledge in human rights, sustainable raw materials, strategic sourcing, responsible purchasing practices, sustainability reporting and supply chain due diligence and legislation. Strong skills in project and team management, workshop development and facilitation, effective communication in an international environment and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In my last position, I was acting as the nexus between sustainability and buying by hard-wiring sustainability considerations into food and non-food value chain optimisation projects and the development of strategic partnerships with suppliers. Currently, I am on a sabbatical fulfilling my dream of travelling through Latin America and Africa and getting to know supply chains on the ground in more detail through farm stays and short-term consultancies.
