Responsible for electrical and large area pulsed solar simulator (LAPSS) testing of satellite solar panels, was the technical lead for a group of four technicians that did the actual testing.• Developed an automated 10’x10’ (X,Y) gantry to monitor LAPSS field intensity.• Implemented guard banded statistical test limits to eliminate test escapes.• Developed an automated diode test station to allow fast consistent testing of diodes. This replaced manual testing and data entry and resulted in a 90% reduction in test time.• Developed test switch boxes, and test jigs to speed panel testing. • Developed test methods and requirements to automate panel testing for high volume satellite programs.

Control System: Responsible for development of retrofit emission (NOx) control system. • Engineering owner of the retrofit NOx reduction dosing control software.• Ran project to completely redesign the emission control system software, directed three software engineers.• Designed the Software tools to allow CAT dealers to re-flash the control system software.• Developed heater control methods for active SCR NOx reduction systems on marine SCR systems.Hardware: Responsible for manufacturing improvements and customer product support for the CleanAIR Systems urea dosing cabinet. Responsible for Flash memory test program development, This included identifying testing improvements, managing and communicating test program roadmap, coding, validating, and documenting test program/process changes, and introducing these changes into the 24/7 production environment. Job required coding in 'C' and Agilent tester language, understanding of Flash memory operation, defect mechanisms, reliability physics, statistical analysis, and the ability to work with 24/7 cross functional teams.• Changed the Hermon (RIM Blackberry Processor) test process from a three step sort to a two step sort resulting in a 30% test throughput improvement.• Developed a new flash pair trim methodology (erase to target rather than trim to target) to reduce test time 2% and create a new Intel best known method (BKM).• Improved the leaky row test to improve resolution, increase yield and reduce test time by 1%.
