I am a true entreprenuer, limited only by the ability to raise the funds to support my projects. Like Steve Jobs says, I am one of the "crazy ones". I have been involved with Jazz music for 65 years (as a musician and presenter) and have worked at NPR stations in Los Angeles, Toronto and Boston.I also present a 2 hour show (Quiet Jazz) on Glastonburyfm and a 1 1/2 hr show on Frome FM (Night Music), Somerset, United Kingdom. The uniqueness of these shows, stems from the material which is played--primarily music recorded in a live environment (in concert) by the Legends of Jazz. I am in the process of starting a 24 hour Jazz internet radio station on the North Coast of Jamaica. The station will focus on recorded music from "live concerts" taken from an extensive in-house library. It will be staffed by volunteers who are committed to spreading the word as to how good a listening experience Jazz can be and at the same time learning the techniques of the broadcasting world. I have a passion for the art form that can comes from being involved with Jazz and contemporary music for over 60 years. In a sense it is my llife. I want to pass on that love and passion for Jazz to other people.Additionally, I have started and run numerous small hi tech companies in USA and Canada in telecommunications and broadcasting..
