With over 11 years of diverse experience spanning the corporate and international development sectors, I am a seasoned Attorney-at-Law passionate about leveraging legal expertise for positive impact. At the beginning of my career, I focused on company law, labour laws, and human resource management in the corporate realm and after 4 years, I transitioned to the international development sector driven by my commitment to the environmental conservation of Sri Lanka. As an Environmental Lawyer, I've dedicated myself to public interest litigation, project management in conservation, and advocacy programs. Currently, I am engaged in CSO advocacy and grant management at The Asia Foundation, where I contribute to initiatives promoting sustainable development across the country. I am a visiting Lecturer on Environmental Law, at the Department of Zoology and Environment Sciences, University of Colombo. I am passionate about fostering connections and driving positive change.
