CurrentSupport the Deputy Chief of Staff for the External Affairs Directorate who is also head of the Resource Management Division with calendar management including reminders to attendees, staff engagement, Division event coordination, WebTA support, and actively working to resolve issues that arise that may hinder the DCOS workday. Initiated composing birthday messages to team members as a boost to team engagement on behalf of Deputy Chief. Designated to compose and disseminate messaging to maintain division’s awareness of the 2022 CFC (Combined Federal Campaign). Selected to attend Volunteer Coordination meetings on behalf of the the division for employees registered to assist with disaster staffing and other humanitarian efforts, facilitate obtaining approvals or denials for deployment and disseminating pertinent information to POCs. Provide back up support to the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs as needed by entering any Congressional inquiries into the STARS/LETS database and assigning to a Congressional Liaison. Manage hard copy and electronic files. Completes input for creating, managing, and continuously analyzing, evaluating, and improving work and paper flow. Relationship management skills including engaging stakeholders, individuals, and vendors allowing for building and maintaining relationship networks. Oversaw tasking of setting up and following up on day-to- day reception area in the USCIS Director’s Office by answering all main telephone lines and referring calls to appropriate staff members and greeting visitors and directing them to designated meeting areas or offices as needed. Responded to calls from applicants or their representatives seeking or relaying information regarding their immigration status or renewal of necessary documents by taking detailed messages and sending to the Applicant unit handling such matters. Arranged meetings, facilitate conference room usage, including assisting with the reminders to attendees.
