• Operated as Competition Manager for the Replication & Expansion grant program awarding $25 million to Charter Management Organizations, overseeing a portfolio of $115 million.• Operated as Competition Manager, for three years, issuing two non-State Educational Agency charter schools grant programs, which annually awards $3-5M to new charter schools. • Executed the entire competition life cycle and work plan including: developing the Notice Inviting Applications, hosting technical assistance webinars, scheduling application evaluations with peer reviewers, developing the Slate Memo, obligating awards by a specified date, and presenting findings to senior officials.• Invited twice to present at the National Alliance for Public Charter School Conference. To address an ongoing concern, I created a booklet titled “Federal Funding Opportunities” and this presentation was the top most rated session at the 2012 conference. • Revised the Program’s Non-Regulatory Guidance addressing legislative and programmatic changes resulting in increased transparency and 30% customer service call reduction. • Served on the following taskforces: Peer Reviewer, Program Evaluation, and Grantee Satisfaction—each taskforce ensued processes standardization and overall process improvement by 50%.• Interviewed and hired graduate student interns, including creating a hiring rubric and an Internship Manual that substantially decreased an intern’s learning curve. • Reduced grantee dissatisfaction by creating a quarterly Newsletter and revamping the annual Project Director’s Meeting resulting in an overall grantee satisfaction increase.
