As the instructional Coach/Assessment Coordinator, I serve as a member of the building leadership team working to align district and building goals and to evaluate student data in support of effective school improvement planning. Additional responsibilities as the instuctional coach consist of designing and delivering professional development, implement collaborative coaching and learning approach, assist new teachers in a collaborative model of observation, convesrsation, and lesson demonstration, to analyze and reflect on their practice to promote quality instructional practices. Facilitate professional collaborative groups and grade-level meetings among teachers in which issues related to implementing effective content instruction, skills, and problem solving are considered.
