I am able to quickly spot opportunities whether it be for new raw materials or ideas from parallel industries whether they be for new claims, a specialist colour effect or a new texture/format. I have nearly 20 years of experience working on NPD for various customers including Boots, The Body Shop, Oriflame, Hema and many of my innovations have generated exceptional sales performance for premium international brands.I have created at least 5 award winning formulations and we have our own laboratory in the South West to enable me to work on projects within Cosmetics and Toiletries to support end-user Clients (Brands), Raw Material suppliers and Contract Manufacturers whilst also working on my own ideas. I would describe myself as the Heston Blumenthal of Cosmetic Formulation.. quirky and unbeatable! I have a strong desire to suceed, thrive on a challenge and more importantly have a real love for formulation.

Various Postions held in this time:4 years in the Future Technologies Group on projects across all technology areas. It was here that I invented the innovative technology behind the NO7 Intelligent Colour Foundation the greatest sucess for NO7 of its time supported by extensive TV advertising. Competitor benchmarking of a haircare range for a Supermarket to market leaders such as Pantene and H&S and the develoment of a new long lasting lipstick. I then had various secondments around the mainsteam NPD teams to gain detailed knowledge across all of the technologies used in cosmetics.
