Agronomic Engineer degree obtained in 2004 at the UPV in València with an intensification in crop protection. The final degree project was on the study of leafhoppers dynamics in valencian vineyards; the work was conducted at IVIA in Montcada (Spain). PhD in Entomology obtained in 2013 at the Miguel Hernández University of Elx; the PhD dissertation got a University extraordinary prize. The doctoral dissertation was on the Ecology of pepper aphids and their parasitoids in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula; this research was conducted at IMIDA in Murcia (Spain). Two postdoctoral stages in international institutions abroad: (1) European Biological Control Laboratory of the USDA in Montferrier sur Lez (France), to study the olive fruit fly parasitoid mass rearing; (2) Vineland Research and Innovation Center in Vineland (Ontario – Canada), to study new strategies to control foxglove aphid in ornamental plants. Study director in ecotoxicology studies in Syntech Research in Picanya (Spain), conducting GLP experiment with non target arthropods. From February 2021, researcher at IMIDA in Murcia (Spain) to study new biological control strategies in Mediterranean agroecosystems, such as pear orchards.Participation in 13 projects with increasing responsibility over time; this participation could be divided in three periods: (1) Predoctoral research in 6 national and regional research projects funded by INIA and Murcia Region as technician and predoctoral researcher; (2) Posdoctoral research in four international projects funded by USDA CSREES and California Oleve Commitee at USDA (France) and by Agrifood Canada and the Canadian Ornamental Horticulture alliance at Vineland (Canada) as a posdoctoral researcher; (3) Research at IMIDA in three projects as researcher and principal investigator, after February 2021.
