Orlando F. Ruiz -Laszlito- (1976) Sr. Director, Creative at Typeform.com. Previously Vp of Creative at @Wetransfer. As VP Creative he oversaw WeTransfer’s creative direction, ensuring an alignment of creative values across every aspect of the WeTransfer brand for its 42 million active users. With a background in illustration and creative direction, he founded his first company in 1995: Diseco.es - a creative boutique helping public institutions and private companies with branding, digital and interior design. He moved to Amsterdam in 2008 to focus more on illustration. Working for magazines and newspapers from all over the world including Monocle, The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, he has also helped companies such as National Geographic and ING with their digital illustration needs. In 2011 he was hired as Design Director for Dutch startup Silk.co. - later to be acquired by Palantir. In 2013 he joined design agency Present Plus as Creative Director - a company which became the first acquisition of WeTransfer in 2016 making Laszlito its Creative Director. Laszlito’s professional and cultural interests include design, art, illustration and technology and he frequently speaks about how he sees the future of these topics. He has been interviewed by titles including Monocle, Vogue Spain, Wired Italy, ADC and 99u. Under his leadership, WeTransfer received numerous design awards including Red Dot, Clio and Lovie.
