As a System Manager I was first responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of some Community of Interest Services and the supporting Software Systems (like TOPFAS,LC2IS or JCOP). After Mindmaker was closed, I went back to STEP (which was later renamed to Ovitas) as Head of Development. During my carrier at Ovitas I led the maintenance and development of the ecls Client (document management and publishing system) which was based on Java. For the user interface we have used the eclipse Rich Client Platform. I have also gained experience in C# in another research project.

At Mindmaker I have worked on a "startup" project, called intelligent agent. I was working mainly in the design and programming, I used C++ programming language (COM and ATL).

When STEP was founded in Hungary it started with 6 people from the ELTE University. With two of my collegaues I started to work on an document management and publishing application which was based on the SGML standard (XML was developed from SGML). The development started in Visual C++ 2.0 and then continued in Visual Studio. The Hungarian Office was responsible for the client application and quickly become the lead of the development team.
