Current- Supervise investigation and rectification of building defects and remedial works.- Assign tasks to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and safe completion.- Liaise with stakeholders (e.g., owners, tenants, contractors) to identify Builders Warranty defects.- Identify defect causes, applicable warranty periods, and responsible parties.- Ensure recoverable costs are tracked and reclaimed.- Manage major defect reports (e.g., structural, safety) and rectification.- Uphold customer satisfaction and address concerns, maintaining the company’s reputation.- Make swift, informed decisions on non-warranty defects with financial and reputational impact in mind.- Develop strategies for smooth handover processes, including documentation and stakeholder transitions.- Manage email communication for post-construction projects.- Liaise with legal counsel for disputes and attend dispute resolution meetings when necessary.- Maintain job schedules and provide monthly reports.- Interpret regulations and building standards to identify defects and actions.- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to reduce defects in future projects.- Attend inspections and adhere to company policies and procedures.
