Associated Students of Grand Canyon University is Grand Canyon University’s student government, representing and serving the student body in pursuit of academic success, personal excellence and spirituality.In my direct role within Student Engagement I oversee the Administrative Branch of GCU’s student government. Focusing on campus wide initiatives aiming to address social issues such as sustainability, mental health, and sexual assault awareness.

Working within vocational rehabilitation through the Department of Economic Security helping individuals with disabilities find competitive employment. Conducting mock interviews, fine tuning first impressions, conducting job searches, as well as networking with companies to increase placements.

Responsible for leading office operations and ensuring efficient communication between all departments within the company. Developed and implemented administrative strategies to maintain satisfactory organization. Responsible for interviewing prospective employees and executing hiring process. Assisted in auditing employee and client files. Reviewed and processed semi-monthly payroll according to company practices. Produced spreadsheets to monitor training, certification, along with other expirables.

Coordinate lessons with classroom teachers for small groups needing individual attention. Responsible for implementing Positive Behavior Intervention Support program throughout the school. Taught mathematics to small groups of children during the after-school program.
