Leading Team and Projects.Accomplishments:• Successfully developed a novel hardness sensor to increase softener efficiency, to control the hardness of downstream through blending and for automatic configuration which is expected to be productized by 2021 • Proficient in operations related to the softener, ion exchange resin, softener validation and ability to target products for different water conditions• Developed economical leak detector and leakage identification method.• Developed prototype of novel flow-meter that quantifies flow and generates electrical energy.• Proposed an alternative cartridge identification and intelligent filtration technique to stop counterfeiting by RFID and NFC.• Proposed a very effective cost reduction (50%) method of the electronic platform of HERO filtration setup by implementing a user-friendlier interface and Wi-Fi enabled electronics. • Expertise in hiring candidates for required positions in the project.Knowledge gained:Very disciplined approach for successful completion of any project.Interest: Taking larger challenges to bring success to the business.

R & D• Developed a novel Direct membrane filtration for the recovery of concentrated organic carbon for the production of energy by simultaneous production of quality water by mitigating membrane fouling successfully. • Evaluated various novel NF membranes from ND, Japan, by rejection studies of Emerging Contaminants. R & D• Developed several Bioball Reactors of sizes up to 1000 L for the treatment of various types of wastewater for the removal of C, N, and P. Mentoring masters and doctoral students for their research work.• Minimization of UF membrane fouling caused by soluble microbial products by development hybrid membrane bio-reactor with fixed carrier bio-ball.• Developed UF membrane fouling mitigation of by enzymatic cleaning.• Instrumental in developing an effective treatment method for the removal of antibiotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) with high solid retention time bioreactor and pharmaceuticals were quantified by LC-MS/MS• Successful treatment of perfluorochemicals (PFCAs) by heterogeneous photocatalysis with TiO2 in acidic media and proposed the mechanistic or mineralization pathways, synthesized TiO2 using sol-gel method.Manufacturing processes - bulk scale:• Construction and operations of fixed carrier bio-ball reactors made with binders from 10 to 1000 for water treatment.• Troubleshooting - manufacturing, and working of reactors.Leadership & Mentoring:• Mentored two Ph.D.'s and 4 Masters for their research work.Interest:• Carbon Nano Tube membrane and Membrane technology, Emerging contaminants treatment and Novel technology development.
