In the Year 2003 bought a franchise from Kumon North America. As the director of Kumon Framingham since 2003, my journey has been one filled with growth, learning, and a deep commitment to educational excellence. Over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of owning and managing two Kumon centers, each serving as a hub for fostering academic development and instilling a love for learning in countless students.From the outset, my goal has been to create an environment where every child can thrive academically and personally. I've strived to cultivate a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within my centers, one where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves, overcome obstacles, and achieve their full potential. Through personalized instruction and tailored learning plans, I've worked diligently to meet the unique needs of each student, helping them build a solid foundation in math and reading skills that will serve them well throughout their academic journey and beyond.In addition to my role as a center director, I've been actively involved in various leadership capacities within the Kumon community. Serving on the Instructor Advisory Board has allowed me to contribute insights and perspectives gained from my years of experience to help shape the direction of the program and support fellow instructors. Collaborating with colleagues through study groups has provided valuable opportunities for professional development, idea exchange, and continuous improvement.One significant milestone in my tenure as a Kumon director was the decision to sell one of my centers. While it was a difficult choice to make, it ultimately allowed me to focus my energy and resources more effectively, ensuring that the remaining center could continue to thrive and serve its students to the best of its ability. This experience taught me valuable lessons in adaptability, strategic planning, and the importance of prioritizing long-term sustainability.Throughout it all, my passion for education and dedication to the success of my students have remained unwavering. As I reflect on the past two decades, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of so many young learners and their families.
