As manager, I trained incoming staff as well as managed their hours and pay. I made sure the business was operating smoothly and efficiently. Being a teacher's assistant for a statistics class, I was in charge of a recitation/discussion class. For this I created lesson plans and organized a teaching outline in order to ensure the students would be learning and preparing for any to all graded material. It was my responsibility to teach the students statistical analysis and learned how to develop effective teaching methods in order to teach a particular crowd so that they would be prepared for their exams. I also learned grading methods for I graded their material as well.

Gained skills in communication, patience with others, and became skilled at creating an open and comfortable environment for others. I learned many responsibility roles as I helped advise incoming freshman and taught them about many conflicts they may be faced with during their first year not just at college, but away from home. I taught them the best and safest solutions in order to resolve these conflicts.
