I am a partner in the litigation department at Montgomery McCracken in Philadelphia and am Co-Chair of the White Collar and Government Investigations practice group. I concentrate on white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation. I handle all phases of civil and criminal litigation, including internal investigations.I have represented individuals and entities in matters involving criminal antitrust, health care fraud, tax fraud, public corruption, environmental crimes, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other federal offenses, including both criminal investigations and civil proceedings arising out of the False Claims Act. In June 2022, my trial team obtained a not guilty jury verdict in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania on all charges brought against a construction company and one of its principals for alleged violations of the Clean Air Act. I also served on the trial team that successfully defended US Army Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair in court-martial proceedings that resulted in sentence of a reprimand and fine. I have also represented companies and individuals in civil fraud, breach of contract, toxic tort, antitrust, and copyright and trademark infringement actions in federal and state court. In addition to litigating matters in civil and criminal state and federal trial courts, as well as private arbitration proceedings, I have argued civil and criminal appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Circuits and Pennsylvania Superior and Commonwealth Courts. I am a former member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's Appellate Rules Committee, which makes formal recommendations to the Court to refine the appellate rules.
