During my time at the bookmakers, I developed a strong amount of people management skills focusing around customer service. During my branch manager role I was involved in staffing, cash flow management, marketing, promotions and heavily focused on giving the best customer experience possible. During my time here I also managed 30 different LBO’s on cover basis over North Wales and Merseyside. I was granted the opportunity to teach within the business school. This position was offered whilst a student of the business degree and a teacher within the department suggested teaching would be a good career path for myself. This position was fantastic experience and allowed for an educating experience for the students and for myself. I taught the entire fundamentals of business module and all my students obtained high passes.
