• Spearheaded new product-required welding operation, researching and developing part geometry for welding, meeting all tensile and fatigue specifications. Completed on time and under budget while meeting all OSHA.
• Developed and designed quick-change holding fixtures for 2 rotary machines, high volume production for a family of pitman arm and idler arm auto parts, reducing set-up time from 8 to under 3 hours, and saving.
• Mediated concerns between internal customer and outside vendors regarding quality and delivery schedule, guaranteeing prompt action and accurate problem solving which contributed to meet product deadlines.
