Financial Services- which provides critical accounting and finance support to the University. I examine, analyze, and interpret complex accounting records for the purpose of determining gains and losses, receipt and disbursements, and inventory. I prepares income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other specialized accounting statements and reports. I also advise others on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.

• Responsible for various routine accounting duties including general ledger maintenance, Account Governance, preparation of journal entries, and compilation of data for various financial reports • Researches and resolves accounting or reporting issues and communicates to management• Facilitate in the implementation of a new system updates based on the functionality of the new general ledger accounts, new node, bank code, and new entity in line with overall strategy regarding financial platforms• Analyze and review Transfer Pricing entries in accordance with policy set up by the committee and work with global partners to resolve any issues that distort the results• Interacts with both internal and external auditors to resolve concerns and provide documentation

• Manage an average of 6 to 8 daily bond and equity Northern funds in excess of over $487 million total net assets• Calculate and deliver net asset values for various commingled fund products• Daily review of diversified transactions, performing maintenance to assigned accounts according to procedures, including checking and correcting discrepancies, audit investment reports, cash statements, and supplemental reporting to verify that data is correctly posted and transactions are correctly classified• First point of reference for day-to-day queries• Established written procedures within a special project for various processes in efforts to help partners understand automated systems and increase productivity

• Initial point of security for all money, money equivalents, and all applicable paperwork, including private guest information and documents• Made well-timed and correct calculations of bill transactions up to $100,000/day or more• Handled money accurately, balanced high volume of receipts, and completed all required paperwork needed to deliver timely reports to higher officials• Assisted staff with banks, checkouts, and money, and money equivalent procedures to ensure a positive experience for all customers
