As a billing/coding specialist I work with providers of various specialties offering services that range from performing billing, credentialing, consulting, and training. Being Director of Patient Accounts has allowed me to communicate and help patients understand their medical invoices and the differences between deductibles, copays, and coinsurances. I also use a number of different tools to aid in insurance verifications and eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid, including Managed Care Organizations.
