Supporting inside and outside sales representative, sales presentation developmentSales department for: property and casualty policies, automotive policies and commercial liability.Review individual applications for insurance to evaluate degree of risk involved and determine acceptance of applications.Direct the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer, Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals, and establish training programs for sales representatives.Underwriting process applications for: changes, cancellation, and reinstatement of insurance policies. Duties include: reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance changes, changing policy records to conform to insured party’s specifications, compiling data on lapsed insurance policies to determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies, canceling insurance policies as requested by agents, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records.Process claim reports by conducting interviews and obtaining statements from claimants, witnesses, and other individuals; locate and obtain records related to individual companies, and other entities; gather information about individuals, companies and entities from public and non-public sources, and disseminate evidence related to suspect insurance claims, write detailed reports, suitable for submission to government agencies, court, and insurance carriers.
