During my tenure I have administered restricted net assets and endowment funds and supervised online banking treasury functions and cash management utilizing bank/investment secure web-based platforms and reporting systems.It is also my responsibility to manage all aspects of financial reporting, consolidation and forecasting information. Develop and manage $50M annual budget and oversee overall organizational budget process by providing leadership and development strategies for $3M endowment fund ensuring compliance with GAAP, resulting in a savings of $50K in additional audit fees.To date I have identified, qualified, cultivated, socially conscious mutual funds saving approximately $100K in investment fees, restructured expense reporting process, and trained staff on Concur, resulting in improving expense report submissions by five days, and redesigned accounting policies and procedures process, resulting in a decrease of two days in the close cycle.

As Senior Finance Manager I was responsible for directing financial and control activities for review of all financial plans and compared to actual results to identify, explain, and correct variances; direct and indirect management responsibility for $65M annual budget. I partnered with executive leadership to consolidate financial/management reporting initiatives to help drive strategy review.Over a two year period I was able to spearhead the implementation of the company's first ERP system, resulting in a savings of $100K in consulting fees, created and administered financial strategy for processing, recording, and reporting financial transactions including documentation of policies, procedures, and controls.In addition I provided modeling and reporting to facilitate executive-level decision making for capital investments, forecasting, revenue recognition, and contract negotiations and ensured financial statements comply with internal policy and external regulations (GAAP) while adhering to contractual obligations.

During my tenure as Finance Manager I evaluated procedures and made determinations with regard to year-end audit and tax preparation by collaborating with auditors and led the transition of implementation of a $500K ERP integration system by collaborating with consultants to facilitate the transition and training of employees.I was to be recognized for restructuring financial processes, procedures and policies, resulting in a 30% reduction in costs.

Earned a promotion following highly successful tenure as Staff Accountant to provide financial support focused on budgeting, planning, and analysis and prepare and present comprehensive reporting packages to management that played critical role in strategic planning efforts. I was responsible for overseeing, collecting and organizing performance data for monthly investment performance by working with investment advisors.
