Overcoming Dyslexia at a young age, LaToya Smith is a Service-Disabled Veteran of the US Coast Guard, a Brooklyn, New York native, wife, and mother to 4 teenaged+ boys (as well as the family dog).She leads the Anvaya Feats Nonprofit Organization (NPO) as well as 3S Tech & Talent, by leveraging her Business Development, Organizational, and Learning & Development experience, LaToya continues to grow and excel as Founder and CEO. Anvaya Feats is a NPO that advocates for and provides opportunities for visibility, growth, and employment to youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities by engineering inclusive and accessible projects, environments, and organizational cultures.3S Tech and Talent is a Woman, Minority and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and the developer of RFPQuick. RFPQuick (the final component of the 3S 1000% Strong Initiative) is a new accessible solution developed by interns and team members with diverse-abilities for Disabled and Disadvantaged small business owners.In addition to these passion projects, LaToya also oversees efforts to scale-up her 4-Phased Approach Virtual Internship program for to support and achieve Sustainable Development Goals impacting marginalized communities and Persons with Disabilities worldwide. She is determined to help tear down long standing stigmas that serve as systemic barriers in IT, Tech, Business, and Creative industries by focusing on the overlooked potential of Persons with Disabilities, as well as underserved and underrepresented communities. Additionally, LaToya is Co-Author/Creator of the Anvaya Feats book series and active in all passion projects stemming from the epic story, including the digital comic series and the growing suite of accessible online games, Emoji Match and Shadow Rush.LaToya now spearheads efforts to build Strategic Partnerships with organizations, like Perkins School for the Blind, Enabled Play, and AfricaComicade, to offer paid virtual internship opportunities to develop inclusive and accessible solutions that help marginalized communities build awareness while enabling and empowering them.
