I’m currently studying at the University of North Texas to earn my Bachelors of Science in Ecology for Environmental Science & I am on track to graduate in 2025. I’m looking for a challenging and compelling internship opportunity for experience in the field. I’ve spent my entire life loving animals and the environment. I grew up with 6 cats and a few fish. Along with my love for nature documentaries, I’ve always had a fondness for nature and the world. It wasn’t until college that I started making environmentally sustainable choices such as using vegan & cruelty-free products. I’ve currently completed 6 semesters at UNT and my current GPA is 3.2/4.0. I’ve taken a few classes that have helped gain knowledge of environmental science, such as Mammalian Ecology & Evolution, Biodiversity & Conservation, and Principles of EcologyHere are some of my strengths to consider for any opportunities in the field:• Leadership skills -I served as captain of the Red Team of Coppell Color Guard my senior year of high school -Gained teamwork, time management, & multitasking skills from this experience• Organization -Being in the marching band in high school and in college currently has made it to where I have to separate and organize my school life from my band life. -All throughout my life, I’ve been taught to keep things neat and tidy, physically and mentally• Efficiency -Doing things efficiently and well runs in my family, but also gained from experience -I did gymnastics for 6 years, so things had to be perfect and quick, or not done at all.• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Please contact me if you have an internship opportunity or any opportunity in the Ecology or Environmental Science field.
