Initially employed as an intern, I was taken on in a permanent role within six months of commencement and promoted to a senior position in January 2017. This is a project-based team role, delivering specific retail fashion market intelligence (Price/Range surveys) to a variety of major High-street fashion retail groups. Research projects are focused in cities around the globe, as well as within the domestic market and consequently have involved me in extensive international travel, working across five continents to date.In order to execute these customer projects on time and to budget, I have had to demonstrate the following capabilities;• Ability to absorb and follow strict project briefs – ensuring ‘right first time’.• Leading and mentoring interns and researchers, assisting in their training where necessary. • Efficient use of time – both in travel arrangements and in data collection/collation.• Effectiveness in project handovers, de-briefs and wash-up meetings.• Completion of research activities on behalf of clients with appropriate level of discretion.• Adjusting to unforeseen circumstances in remote locations, using independent judgement.• Accurate and timely transposition of research findings to Excel for further analysis.• Competence to an Intermediate level in the use of Microsoft Excel.

Whilst searching for employment after University, I started an Ebay business where I sold vintage clothes and accessories. For fun, and to gain experience, I assisted the wardrobe department at The Kirby Muxloe Players, an amateur theatre group. Here I helped make, source and alter garments for productions and assist backstage on show nights with costume changes and chaperone younger actors.

During my volunteering with the costume resource centre I helped with the costume collection care. I gained knowledge and insight to the accessioning and storage of garments and accessories dating back to the 18th Century.

During my University breaks I worked as a part time support worker for Heather Holmes, a care home for adults with learning difficulties. Here I assisted residents with personal care according to individual care plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. I would assist the service users on trips out and with general cooking and household duties. At Heather Holmes I was able to contribute to maintaining a good quality of life to the service users and manage behavioral challenges.

During College I worked as a crew worker at McDonalds, attaining star awards in service and cleanliness. Here I worked in a team reliant service environment, serving customers, dealing with complaints, carrying out cleaning duties, servicing coffee machines and preparing food. All this had to be done at a high speed while maintaining quality, friendly service.
