Stichting Buitendoor creates a sustainable learning environment where youths will be challenged to grow, on a personal level as well as on a group level. Outdoor activities, such as ATB, climbing and kayaking are used to obtain the desired goal, as well as games and team building activities. This is done in the setting of school camps, summer camps, training days and international exchanges. As a volunteer, I guide groups in conversation, games, team buildings activities and the aforementioned outdoor activities, to amplify collaboration within the group, focusing on communication, leadership and trust among other things.

Utrecht

As a board member of the Students Ultimate Frisbee association in Utrecht, I am responsible for the venue that we use. This include being in multiple committees of the foundations that organizes the exploitation of the venue, such as the committee for the canteen and the one for the fields. Moreover, I am a member of the supervisory board of Stichting beheer Vecthzoom (the exploitation foundation).

Accompanying groups of yachts (flotilla’s), 10 to 14 yachts per group, at the North Ionian Sea, around the Corfu area. This involves giving presentations about weather and the tour of the day in the morning, assisting at mooring, repairing minor technical difficulties, organize activities for children and teenagers and keeping in touch with the local restaurant owners for reservations.

Working as assistant tutor at a well-known high school national exam preparatory course, focusing on psychological factors of learning aside from reinforcing knowledge.
