Co-ordinated, managed and validated the Argos 3 year Strategic Plan. This involves working with Senior Management Teams to bring together the component parts of the Strategic Plan, producing profit and loss accounts, cashflows and balance sheets.

Provided financial modelling and analytical support to the annual Category planning process which identifies market opportunities, product areas to grow and those to shrink.

My role at IHG was primarily a combination of corporate audits (~75%, including corruption and bribery, payroll, Sarbanes Oxley) and hotel audits (~25%, reviewing the financial and operational activities of IHG’s most strategically important hotels), requiring frequent international travel.

Working as an auditor and studying for my ACA qualification, my work portfolio included (but was not limited to), AIM listings, audits of financial statements, debt refinancing and Sarbanes Oxley. Clients included (but were not limited to) Vauxhall, AWE plc, British Land Plc, Gullivers Travels Agency, Delta plc and Abbott Pharmaceuticals. Overall ‘Excellent Performer’ rating in performance appraisals, with 2 Outstanding Contribution Awards for exceptional work.
