Metro Rod is a franchise business providing services nationwide. Their Head Office is based in Macclesfield where they manage the franchisees and liaise with key account customers. In the role of Performance improvement Manager, I was responsible for managing performance improvement efforts for their organisation. Responsible for identifying possible performance improvements during the business cycle and partnered with operations leaders to complete improvement efforts in a timely manner. One of the responsibilities included analysing key business metrics, and researching what is required to increase performance. I conducted training and development sessions for employees, and tailored these to be in line with their individual functions and processes. I participate in business meetings to deliver detailed reports to senior managers, where I would highlight observations and performance results. I tracked performance and quality improvement after strategies and plans have been deployed.It was important in this role to have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with other managers, franchisees and their teams. This role was reliant on me having excellent multitasking skills to participate in different improvement projects and work under strict deadlines.
