Manage a team of specialists to own the development, maintenance and support of Parliament's suite of collaboration tools, primarily in Office 365. Technical advisor to the Office 365 rollout and adoption Programme, including a work stream to replace a standalone EDRMS solution with a SharePoint Online based alternative.

Pre-Sales:• Supporting the pipeline of the SharePoint Practice by being the subject matter expert in pre-sales engagements regarding SharePoint Online and the supporting tools in Office 365, including Yammer, Office 365 Video, Delve and Power BI.• Presenting the work of the SharePoint Practice to customers of differing sizes, across various industries, in many formats including workshop style sessions, remote conference calls and large multi-customer events.• Working with the SCC sales force to build awareness of the SharePoint offering, and to qualify potential opportunities.• Writing Proposals and Statements of Work in response to formal tenders, informal customer requirements and fully analyzed requirements captured through discovery sessions.Delivery:• Design and execution of a series of strategic workshops, designed to help customers maximize their investment in Office 365 by planning the roadmap of their adoption of SharePoint Online and the wider toolset.• Leading discovery workshop engagements, guiding users with a range of technical skill levels to articulate their requirements, in use cases ranging from large-scale, social intranets to iterative out-of-the-box team sites.• Supporting the design phase of all engagements, including running requirement workshops, developing requirements into wireframe designs, writing full functional specifications and assisting with detailed delivery planning.• Assisting with the training and adoption phase of work by delivering train the trainer sessions and technical handover of solutions, supporting launch activities and providing guidance on governance and business change through workshop sessions.• Supporting the development of the SharePoint Practice’s suite of accelerator products, through functionality design, continual testing, and release note preparation.

Project Delivery Lead team member in the planning, implementation and support of the £1.1m Royal Opera House “Technology Transformation” project – bringing the systems, software and infrastructure forward 15 years to the forefront of available technologies, into a user base of around 1500 on 700 desktops as well as numerous BYO mobile devices. Online Platforms and User Management Responsibility for all online systems, most significantly Office 365 including Exchange Online. Additional responsibility for internal user identity and security through the design and maintenance of Active Directory. SharePoint Agile project lead for the design, development and implementation of a brand new intranet where none previously existed, enabling a digitally mobile workforce built on SharePoint Online as part of Office 365. Additional analysis and configuration of the SharePoint Online platform to prepare for housing all documentation online. Assisting with the configuration of further online file storage platforms – including a Digital Asset Management System on Microsoft Azure – with an aim to minimize reliance on traditional on premise file storage. Sole responsibility for the ongoing development and expansion of the SharePoint Online platform, including all development, configuration, training of key super users and up-skilling of technology staff.

Logging and resolving first and second line service desk incidents, dealing with a wide variety of issues across the entire business. Assisting with the configuration and implementation of a new Service Desk system. Leading the implementation of a “Follow Me” printing system, including rollout and training across the entire business.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of IT as the only Business Analyst in a small IT department, and responsible for overall Project Management of software implementations, upgrades and configurations. Lead on the implementation of a SharePoint 2007 Intranet, from initial Business Analysis, through the entire configuration of the environment, to end user training and business-wide product implementation. Single point of contact within the business and department for all SharePoint queries. Specification writing, development testing, UAT leadership, end user training, data migration, system installation and second and third line support for bespoke business systems. Analysis, design and writing of SSRS reports for in-house systems, including development of relevant SQL views, functions and stored procedures.
