I have my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) and worked for three years as a resident engineer which included interfacing between Texas Instruments and General Motors to provide successful implementations of our transmission sensors. I also have extensive customer service experience including seven years in industrial electrical and electronic sales. Also, eight years of waitressing was a great training ground for thinking on my feet and meeting the needs of a wide variety of people.I then left the corporate workforce to focus on raising my children. During this time, I volunteered for REACH Homeschool, responsible for transforming it into a 501(c)(3), tracking registrations, payments, income, and expenses. I have also been a La Leche League leader for 18 years, which required extensive communication training and has equipped me with problem solving and communication skills that will be valuable in any position. I have also done data entry for multiple non-profits.
