With over 25 years representing and defending employers of all sizes, my goal with every client is to provide exceptional and efficient service, always with an eye towards meeting needs and exceeding expectations. I've litigated class actions and individual actions, tried several cases, and argued before the California Supreme Court and Third District Court of Appeal. I also regularly counsel employers on workplace matters including discipline and discharge; wage and hour issues such as missed meal breaks, rest periods, pay stubs, and prevailing wage compliance; discrimination; harassment; retaliation; wrongful termination; FMLA/CFRA family leave and disability / COVID reasonable accommodation issues; trade secrets, unfair competition, employee theft and misappropriation issues; preventative counseling and compliance issues; and related employment law matters. I also represent employers in traditional labor law matters including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practices, and grievance resolution. I've represented employers in court, binding arbitrations, mediations, and before administrative agencies including the DFEH, EEOC, NLRB, CUIAB, Cal-OSHA, DOL and California State Labor Commissioner.Since 2019, I have enjoyed serving on the Board of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (ADC) as Chairperson of the Employment Law Committee. In 2020 I became a member of the Executive Committee and am now serving as Secretary. I also serve on the Sacramento County Presiding Judge Civil Advisory Committee and am a Board Member for FosterHope Sacramento.I continue to love what I do and am honored to work with a variety of employers and companies in the greater Sacramento area and Northern California.
