I began my career as a paralegal. I have a total of 17 years of legal experience in the following field: Corporate, Finance, Business Transactions (Mergers/Acquisitions) including Due Diligence, Real Estate (Commercial and Residential), Contracts, Personal Injury litigation and Workers’ Compensation, Foreclosure/Bankruptcy. For example, in my role as paralegal in business transactions, I was responsible for drafting all transactional documents and communications, reviewing due diligence materials and ensuring all items required and requested were received, creating entities, preparing stock transfers, and reviewing financial statements. I attended and graduated from law school in 2002 while working full time. I had extensive contact with clients throughout all transactions.In the law school, I further developed my research and analytical skills. I am able to quickly analyze any information and/or data and determine the issue, apply the rule(s), regulations, or policies, explain clearly and concisely and reach conclusion. I performed legal research and summarized my findings quickly and effectively.
