Leading the Life-Enrichment Department with enthusiasm and creativity, providing client-centered and meaningful programs for older adults in assisted-living and memory-care care levels. Directly supporting residents in their independence, leisure and enjoyment, and completion of daily occupations, ultimately working to uniquely enrich lives. Establishing strong rapport and communication with residents, families, community networks, and internal/external care providers. Collaborating with Clinical Wellness Department to provide holistic, high-caliber, care and connection with residents.

Directed a non-profit summer program for 80+ youth participants with a diagnosis of a mental health and/or behavioural disability, in partnership with Alberta Health Services on an inter-agency planning committee. Established effective community partnerships in fundraising donations of food and supplies to ensure the services/programs offered were inclusive, free of charge, and addressed a multitude of inequitable barriers. Enhance community support and integration of youth through daily leisure activities, therapeutic engagement, and community stewardship opportunities to promote mental and physical wellbeing, leadership, participation, and peer interaction. Received the Youth Emerald Foundation Grant (2019) for creating youth-led environmental projects such as wet-land and coulee conservation initiatives.

Assisted adults (25-60+ years of age) living with a primary diagnosis of a severe or persistent mental health condition in a transitional supportive housing setting, to live both independently and interdependently in the community. Worked directly with clients within the group home to support life-skill development in daily occupations such as grocery shopping, symptom/medication management, crisis intervention, organization, cooking, house maintenance, leisure and learning, financial education, communication, and other related skills. Promoted a positive and stable environment, built trusting therapeutic relationships, and applied a strength-based lens to provide the best possible care to clients along their recovery journey.

Directly supported 150+ people of all ages (5-80+ years of age) with complex medical condition and diagnoses to actively participate in their desired accessible outdoor summer activities, utilizing creativity and innovative adaptive equipment. Provided daily personal care to campers and supported medication, behaviour, and symptom management. Fostered an inclusive and participatory environment with team collaboration, client connection, and empathy. Promoted to Lead Programmer near the end of the summer, and developed engaging and camp schedules/programs alongside Co-Lead Programmer.
