In my tenure at this agency, I have now raised more money for it as an individual fundraiser, than any other since CASA for Children was founded in 1986. This was accomplished by shifting the organization's funding model to a donor-centric revenue one (particularly focused on multi-year commitments) from the previous events revenue model.Additionally, under my tenure on the communications side of the agency, my team has now established major media branding partnerships, including with the local Portland ABC affiliate, KATU, that have resulted in significant community awareness and individual donations to the agency.As CASA for Children is the largest CASA agency in the state by far, we also have significant influence with the legislators in Salem and lobbying for additional $'s from the state each biennium for this legally mandated right for every child in foster care in the state of Oregon to have a CASA.

In this newly created role, I'm working to expand resource development for significant private sector fundraising initiatives. In doing so, the goal is to sustainably close the gap so that every child in foster care (over 3,000 children at any one time in our 3 county service area) who is in need of a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), has one.CASA for Children is one of the largest and longest serving CASA organizations in the U.S.

Leading development and partnerships strategy for di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, the most significant holding of contemporary Northern California art in the world. Located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley, di Rosa’s over 200 acres of landscaped grounds serve as a backdrop for the center’s focus on exhibitions and educational programs presented through the lens of socially engaged new commissions and a fresh approach to seminal Bay Area work mined from its rich collection.

Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play as a tool for development in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Established as a global organization in 2000, it now has representation and programs in 23 countries. RTP has grown to reach more than 1 million children every week (almost 50% are female) in its sport and play based educational curriculum. It also has impacted millions more children worldwide indirectly thru its play-based programming integrated into several national educational curriculums, and as a powerful advocate for children’s rights and advocacy. RTP has an organizational annual budget of over $35 million, 5,000 coaches, 600 employees and more than 13,000 active volunteers.

Leading the development team for the major gifts capital campaign in the U.S., for our EMW programs that are now in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, East Timor, India, the Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand.
