On the back end, the application communicates with the laboratory device using a custom serial protocol and interfaces to two mass spectrometers using their respective software development kits.• Developed a RESTful API using ASP.NET WebApi and JSON for a private DNA databasing system to allow integration into third party applications.• Worked as part of a large team on-site at a client’s facility to make major modifications to a software application used to control a robotic pipetting device. Participated in weekly status meetings and estimated story points as part of the client’s agile project management methodology. Developed automated unit tests and manual test scripts as well as updated design documentation in preparation of FDA submission.

Designed and implemented desktop software, supported and enhanced AS/400 pharmacy information system (PIS), served as a knowledge-base of the inner workings of the entire PIS. Major Accomplishments:• Integrated a third-party windows-based imaging/workflow system with existing AS/400 mainframe pharmacy system. • Innovated software that automates internet-based patient benefits inquiries. This software ultimately saved hundreds of data-entry man-hours.• Designed and implemented a complete backup pharmacy information system. This system provides the ability to download mainframe data to a PC, enter patient and prescription information, print barcoded prescription labels and produce packing list reports.
