Supporting the English department, I devised and delivered literacy intervention across the whole school. At KS3 I planned and delivered literacy booster sessions for groups of students who were performing below their target grades and created lessons for students at KS4 in order to improve their reading and writing skills in readiness for GCSE exams. Working with both foundation and higher students at KS4, I also provided English language exam skills and controlled assessment support.

Handling all of the marketing and communications responsibilities for this small but busy company, I managed all external communications and developed solid client relationships. I raised the profile of the company with targeted campaigns and by creating quality, engaging proposals. Creating all print and online marketing literature, I also negotiated finishing services contracts with both new homebuilders and with companies dealing with council refurbishments.

Guiding clients through the purchase process, I liaised between property purchasers, solicitors, financial advisors and estate agents throughout the process. I prepared weekly and monthly progress reports for the Area Sales Manager, handled variation requests and had regular meetings with the site manager, to ensure client requests were being fulfilled and to establish build stages.

Handling all financial services offered by the branch, I assessed clients on the feasibility of personal loans and dealt with international money transfers. Promoted to branch manager following my training period, I ensured that all clients received the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities included: the day-to-day management of the branch and to develop, market & implement new ideas to increase business. I also managed staff appraisals, reviews, and training; attended monthly management meetings; reviewed business progress and handled the negotiation of customer commission rates for personal loans. Other general duties included: credit control, branch audits, money ordering, and in-branch security.
