- Ensures that clinical and research development supplies global importations and exportations are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulatory requirements of customs and other applicable governmental agencies- Process daily import/export transactions ensuring compliance to all US government laws andregulations. This includes US Customs and Border Protection, USDA, FDA, Fish & Wildlife, CDC Bureau of Industry and Security, DEA, FAA- Generating shipping documents and AES filingstrials. Working closely with requestors to verify all necessary documentation is correct- Adhere to country specific standard operating procedures for importing/exporting clinical trialmaterial and raw materials, including logistics, customs clearance and delivery cycle times- Liaise with in-country coordinators/CRO’s to establish standing import and exportrequirements for clinical trials, including export license and import permit determination- Help to maintain all international product data for development compounds country of origin, PGA licenses & permits, FDA product codes, IND’s for rawmaterials, chemical intermediates and finished goods- Instruct customs brokers and freight forwards on the clearance of import-export transaction.- Conduct post-entry review (VAT) ensuring transactions comply with US import regulations- Ensure order fulfillment, shipping, deliveries, end-to-end, escalation and prioritization withcarriers

- Coordinates directly with freight carriers on day-to-day operations/movements to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries. Responsible for overseeing freight out to end customer and freight in from suppliers.- Manages transportation and logistics. solution service providers and activities- Coordinates transportation of shipments ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity and all other customer requested items. - Coordinates with management and freight carriers on daily shipping processes. - Manages shipment tracking reporting and regularly communicate status of shipments to stakeholders.- Acts in compliance with governmental regulations concerning import / export and regulatory requirements. - Ensures all shipments comply with customer routing guides and regulations.
