Providing support to the Accounting & Finance departments for a new Billing system. Documenting current processes into process flows. Identifying the business changes that impact Accounting & Finance. Including writing and reviewing business requirements, partnering with IT to develop system changes, planning appropriate test strategy, writing and executing test cases, and defect management. Train staff on changes to new or existing processes.

Primarily provide Project Management support; other roles include Forecasting, Accounting support, and Testing.

Responsible for providing Project Management support across a portfolio of cross-functional and strategic initiatives.

Leads team within Accounting department that provides support for the system implementation of business changes that impact Accounting. Drives issue recognition and resolution between Accounting and IT, focusing on cross-functional teaming to incorporate process change acceptance. Includes writing and reviewing business requirements, partnering with IT to develop system changes, planning appropriate test strategy, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) within company and SOX guidelines. Most notably, led the Accounting team with the implementation of a new billing system that included a brand new revenue engine.

Included partnering with Finance to refine the revenue forecast strategy in order to provide improved monthly variance analysis to the business. Led to overall better financial planning.

Responsible for reviewing Accounting revenue processes in order to identify improvements to shorten the month-end close cycle. Identified and developed a program with IT that reduced the month-end close cycle for revenue from 20+ days to 5.
