Laura has has been involved in and responsible for delivering a diverse range of Civil Engineering projects over the last 17 years. She is a Chartered Stormwater Design and Transportation Engineer, and is enthusiastic about managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects. Laura has been delivering roading projects from funding through to practical completion in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia for most of her career. She has experience working for government authorities, both in New Zealand (Auckland City Council, New Zealand Transport Agency, Whangarei District Council), and in Queensland, Australia (Barcaldine Regional Council, Department of Transport & Main Roads). Understanding the pressures of public office, she is motivated to gain efficiencies and deliver value for money to the client. Through both her private and public roles she has been responsible for funding / business case submissions for projects. She is an experienced design and project manager, and has lead many major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects successfully through all design phases. She is passionate about the delivery of projects, and has been responsible for the preparation of 3910/3916 contracts in her time, including some of major size (the Northland Bridges Programme), and the subsequent administration of these projects. Laura has a reputation for being firm but fair in her contract administrator roles, and works hard to ensure a positive relationship with the Contractor. No Contracts she is responsible for have entered dispute.
