Marshall Associates Inc. (“MAI”) is a sales and marketing firm with a specialty in merchandising consumer goods in categories such as Lawn & Garden, Toys & Sporting Goods, and Home Improvement & Furniture. The MAI sales force, dispersed across the United States and parts of Canada, acts on behalf of specific manufacturers to serve as their direct sales force to national, regional, and local retailers. The MAI support teams, specialize in E-Commerce, Marketing, Tech Development and International Representation.The E-Commerce team promotes the sale of consumer products in numerous online channels, including brick and mortar retailer websites, online-only retailers, and flash sale sites. Strategic and robust content creation and management are the core of this business sector. In this role, I focus on managing e-retail operations on Amazon and Walmart such as over-seeing daily operational workflow. I work with key contacts at Amazon and Walmart including Vendor Managers. Category Specialists, In-Stock Managers and the Amazon Advertising Team creating marketing and promotional plans to best optimize allocation of marketing funds for optimal results. I work to develop and modify analytical tools to communicate manufacturer sales and forecasting on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

In this role, I focus on supporting e-retail operations on Amazon.com such as supporting daily operational workflow, such as item set-up and order confirmation, creating and managing product content and assets, regularly auditing site for improved accuracy, optimizing allocation of marketing funds and developing/modifying analytical reporting tools to communicate manufacturer sales and forecasting data on a weekly and monthly basis.

I help foster a positive relationship with the University of Iowa alumni and inform alumni of programs, accounts, and Dean initiatives. As a student caller, I act as a liaison between the University of Iowa and alumni.

I served as the Assistant to the Marketing Manager to help build community awareness for Junior Achievement in the Eastern Iowa area. As the Marketing/Special Events intern I also assisted with Special Events such as Business Hall of Fame, Bowl-4-Education, and Volley-4-Education as well as create with newsletters, write press releases, help with the design of event logos and brochures, and website updates.

As an Executive Officer of Alpha Delta Pi, I was in charged of upholding standards, ethics, and values in our sorority of Alpha Delta Pi. I would conduct Standards Meetings with members to work around issues and problems in academics as well as in our sorority. I served over the Standards Council and worked one-on-one with our National Standards Advisor to foster and continue Chapter improvement.

As Public Relations Officer for Alpha Delta Pi, I wrote articles for our National Magazine, The Adelphean, highlighting our member's involvement on campus and within our sorority. I fostered a positive image for our Chapter on campus and within the Greek Community. I was in charge of updating social media sites and creating social media campaigns.

As a membership attendant, I assisted with the day to day management of the Field House. I was responsible for answering phone calls, checking members into the facility, and ensuring membership and registration paperwork as filled out correctly. As a attendant, I exhibited excellent customer service skills and managed the cash register drawer, reconciling it at the end of every shift.

Serving as an assistant to the Volunteer Coordinator, I helped coordinate the tournament's 1,300 volunteers. I wrote publications and newsletters promoting the tournament's publicity. I helped plan and organize special events within the tournament, while working closely with key tournament sponsors.
