During my undergraduate career I presented at the Society for Neuroscience National Conference in Washington D. C. This gave me the confidence, inspiration, and experience to feel ready to covey high levels of information to students. I also realized my passion for spreading crucial information in an accesible way for all people. I achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience from Susquehanna University. After discovering my love of public speaking and education I enrolled in the School for Continuing Education at Rutgers University. I have graduated from the Continuing Education School at Rutgers University and now have my license as a Teacher of Biology in New Jersey. I am passionate in fostering the neurological development of young minds and collaborating with others on diverse projects to benefit local communities. I have worked as a Teacher of Science at Ramsey High School for the last three years teaching both Biology and Environmental Science on an inclusion based model. I have worked closely with Special Education Co-Teachers to develop multiple pedagogies that are accesible to the diverse needs of students. I am passionate about public speaking, public health, accessible education, technology, and Climate Change.
