As the HR Generalist/Payroll, I process an extremely manual payroll process for a company of 650+ coworkers. Payroll processing includes garnishments, auditing tips, PTO and other time off requests, manual checks, all payroll reporting within the department and Accounting, etc. I manage and administer all aspects of benefits, including evaluating and changing our benefits programs, managing monthly enrollments, annual open enrollment, answering questions. Similarly, I manage our 401(k) program including open enrollments, annual census and audit including 5500. Smaller programs that I administer at Colectivo are our Special Leave of Absence program, Unemployment claims and hearings, FMLA, ADA, OSHA and Workers Compensation, Commuter Bike Benefits, census reports, and year end reporting for ACA. Originally I was brought on to additionally oversee all employee changes but have handed off that responsibility. I've documented and formalized many internal processes in order to increase clarity for the coworker experience, and simplified many process.
