Systems Engineer with expertise in RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Most recent role as AJM-3 RIO Manager, supporting the Enterprise Services director and 4 program managers. Previous roles include: RIO Manager for FAA SBS (Surveillance and Broadcast Services) Program, hosting RIO Board Meetings with upper level management, and Active Risk Manager (ARM) Tool Administrator for the entire FAA, supporting about 65 Programs in their use of the tool, license distribution, and improving tool's functionality.

In this role, I designed a new UX/UI for national security related AI system; created workflows with feedback from key government stakeholder and packaged for presentation to Army Future Commands General.

Within this position, I conducted a variety of systems engineering tasks for the Data Communications project within the FAA's Next Gen effort. This included: mapping requirements documents and maintaining their currencies, creating queries for various analytics tasks, and coordination with the customer and industry representatives (ie. airline pilots, dispatchers, air traffic controllers, communication service providers, engineering firms).

Intern reporting to Director of Chief and Project Engineering in the Tactical Systems Unit. Tasks ranged from assembling packages for clients such as Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, to conducting Finite Element Analysis in NX software.

As a member of the Flow Simulation Research Group, I reconstructed insect flights in Autodesk software. I primarily worked with damselflies maneuvers. The output of my work (ie. pitch angles, yaw, etc.) was then passed on to graduate and post-doctorate students in the final hopes of learning as much as possible to recreate bio-inspired flight.
