With marked increase in revenue during the first year, there was an opportunity to move into a leadership role and expand the team. Laura was part of the team that launched the new design title for industry, builders and NEO consumers alike, 'Mezzanine'. In the same year 'The Architecture and Design Forecast 2016'was launched as an annual, which was an academic review of game-changing trends and technologies to due to impact the built environments across 5 key sectors. Launching the Indesign Melbourne office in 2011 meant there was a stable base for clients and the 'Melbourne Indesign' event series (formerly, Saturday in Design). The role was focused around media sales, negotiation and developing new revenue opportunities within the Southern States region. This position evolved to be the brand and business development manager specifically for DQ Magazine and proudly contributing across all IMAP titles within the APAC region.
